Chennault Aviation & Military Museum (CAMM) is excited to announce its continuing partnership with “Your Area Chevron Dealers” to sponsor the upcoming RUN FOR THE RED, WHITE & BLUE 5K & 1K Run/Walk. The event will take place Saturday morning, May 27, 2017, at CAMM, 701 Kansas Lane, Monroe.

RUN FOR THE RED, WHITE & BLUE is held annually to support the work of the Museum. There will be food, music and activities available for the whole family. Tours of the Museum will take place during and after the race. Also, you can participate in the Red, White & Blue Memorial Balloon Release. Come make it a fun-filled time to honor our veterans this Memorial Day Weekend.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Memorial Day with Our H.O.M.E., this year we will be at Kiroli Park amphitheater to honor the fallen and lift up the Gold Star Families.

We will have live music (Scotty Temple & Southbound Train & Black Water Brake)!!! Food (Woodmen Life cook-off for the best pull pork in all Louisiana) and side (provide by Texas Roadhouse)! Bouncers and much more for the kids. Other organization booths that support or serve veterans!!! Raffles, door prizes, free give away, Our HOME Gear, and so much more.

In celebration, we will honor the sacrifices that we paid. The festival will go until 9pm, and we will end with a 1,000 Golden LED Balloon Release to honor the Gold Star Families!

An annual event established to Honor and Remember our Fallen Heroes. Hosted by Blue Star Mothers of NELA, Kiroli Park., and Bad Monkey Brass Band. Co Sponsored by Mulhearns, and Kilpatrick's. Honored guests include Gold Star families from North Louisiana. Names from our most recent wars - Operation Enduring Freedom to present- will be read and "Tolled". (Names beginning in 2004 are complete to the best of our knowledge). 34 known Gold Stars. PTS Victims will also be called out. It's vitally important to Honor and Remember those who have given so much for us. Please call if you'd like to double check for your Gold Stars or your loved one's name. Beautiful Memorial Wreaths will be presented to Families that call ahead.
American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Daughters of the American Revolution, Patriot Guard Riders, and Blue and Gold Star Mothers all participate to keep the solemn significance of Memorial Day burning brightly, and to educate the next generation to carry the tradition into the future. Featured Keynote Speaker is State Senator Mike Walsworth.. Patriot Guard Rider State Ride Captain John Smith will speak, as well as, Katie Collins with DAR. Patriotic Music courtesy of Bad Monkey Brass Band. Special Musical offerings, by Gospel Music Association Award winner Retired MSGT Mike Freeman. The young Adams sisters, Toni and Jeannie Adams @ JT Adams music.com, will be performing the National Anthem and God Bless America., and West Monroe JROTC will participate.. This meaningful, patriotic program, promises to be enjoyable, interesting and informative, and of course Memorable..

DōMo BrewFest returns on Saturday, June 3rd to the Origin Bank Downtown RiverWalk. It's the event you loved in 2015 and 2016, but even better!
